The Siouxon Creek drainage (pronounced sou-sawn and rhymes with Tucson) is situated south of Mount Saint Helens in the wonderfully vast Gifford Pinchot National Forest. For a longer run, park at the hairpin corner on NF-5701 about 0.7 miles north of the intersection with Calamity Peak Rd.
